I bought this silly plant when I felt so sad and unseen and destroyed. I bought it for myself after I'd asked my ex-partner to get me one more than three times and I wrote a note to myself on the delivery package that said, "u r a real boy" and then I told myself I would keep it alive and it represented me.

this silly little plant has far outlasted the relationship. I may not be very good at taking care of plants, but we're both still limping along.
